What is Deep Oscillation?
Deep Oscillation® is a unique, gentle, pain free treatment. It is very relaxing for the patient as resonance vibrations (oscillations) are sent through the therapists’ fingers or the hand held applicator into the desired tissue.

How does it work?
A specific spectrum of frequencies causes gentle electrostatic impulses that ‘knead’ your skin’s tissue by attracting and releasing it between 5-250 times a second.
This creates a deep vibrational effect within the myofascial tissue, which helps remove the protein solids, inflammatory by-products and lymph fluids. This aids their dispersal/removal out of the lymph system.
Your therapist will either use the hand held adapter or will be connected to the machine using an electrode and you will hold a light neutral titanium bar loosely between your fingers. Wearing vinyl gloves and using talc instead of oil, your therapist massages your target area allowing the pulsed oscillations to penetrate your skin to a depth of 8-12cm through skin, connective tissue, sub-cutaneous fat, muscle, blood and lymph vessels.
Is it like Ultrasound or Tens?
No, it is not. It does not require heat or electrical stimulation to achieve very effective results, making it completely safe to use over implanted pins and plates.
